It all begins with the Meditation On Loving class
Meditation on loving-kindness, also known as Metta meditation, is a form of meditation that cultivates feelings of love, kindness, and compassion towards oneself and others. It involves repeating certain phrases or intentions, while focusing on the sensations of warmth, love, and goodwill in the body.

As with all workshops of GMCKS, each session is experiential, immersive and lots of fun.

Here's a simple meditation on loving-kindness that you can try:

  • Find a quiet and comfortable place to sit, where you won't be disturbed. Sit cross-legged or in a chair with your back straight and your hands resting on your lap.
  • Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths, allowing your body and mind to relax.
  • Begin by directing the following phrases towards yourself: "May I be happy, may I be healthy, may I be peaceful, may I be loved." Repeat each phrase several times, while focusing on the sensations of warmth and love in your heart.
  • After a few minutes, shift your focus towards a loved one or someone you care about deeply. Direct the same phrases towards them: "May you be happy, may you be healthy, may you be peaceful, may you be loved." Visualize them smiling and happy, surrounded by love and kindness.
  • Next, direct the same phrases towards someone you feel neutral towards, such as a stranger or an acquaintance. Visualize them also being happy and surrounded by love and kindness.
  • Finally, direct the same phrases towards someone you have difficulty with, such as an enemy or someone you hold a grudge against. This can be challenging, but try to cultivate feelings of kindness and compassion towards them, wishing them happiness, health, peace, and love.
  • Take a few deep breaths and allow yourself to simply sit and be with these feelings of love and kindness, for as long as you like
  • Remember that Metta meditation is a practice, and it may take time and patience to cultivate feelings of love and kindness towards ourselves and others. With regular practice, however, it can have a profound impact on our well-being and our relationships with others.

HOW LONG IS THE CLASS?

Usually 16 - 20 hours, depending on the capacity of the students. The class can be spread over 2 days from 9.30 AM to 6.30 PM. You have options of Weekend Classes or Attending over Weekdays.

WHO CAN ATTEND THE BASIC PRANIC HEALING CLASS?

Anyone above the age of 16 & a willingness to learn.
